Interview with the Vampire -5-Louis looked at the clean, empty dining ware in front of him in dismay. He then looked up at Lestat, who was drumming his flawless, china fingernails on the table. “What was the vampire who made you like?” Louis asked.  Lestat came out of his daze. “Hm?”  “The one who made you…what was he like?”  
“I don’t really know,” Lestat said simply.  “You have to know something about him.”  Lestat shook his head. “He threw himself into a pyre soon after changing me.”  “Why?”  “He was driven mad,” Lestat told Louis. “By the v Interview with the Vampire -5-

Interview with the Vampire -4-Lestat pulled away from his newest victim and glared at Louis. “You passed up another delicious opportunity.” He let the girl fall back onto the couch he was bending over and stood up, walked to Louis and pulled him against his chest. “I’m going to make you one way or another,” Lestat said and roughly kissed Louis, twisting his bloody tongue into his mouth.  
 Louis tried to pull away but Lestat kept a strong grip on him Louis had no choice but to swallow the leftover blood that crudely spilled into his mouth. He narrowed his eyes at Lestat once he backed off. “You’re cruel.”  “I Interview with the Vampire -4-

Interview with the Vampire -3-Louis watched in disgust as Lestat seduced another young woman into a deathly trap. Lestat looked up at him and grinned, bearing his bloodstained teeth and lips proudly. “Are you going to just stand there?” he asked.  Louis sighed and turned around from the sight. A few seconds later he felt Lestat’s hand on his shoulder.  “She’s not dead,” Lestat said. “I want you to finish her. We’re not leaving until this is over.”  “You do it,” Louis replied.  Lestat turned him around and ran his fingers down the side of Louis’ face. “You look starved. I know you are. Interview with the Vampire -2-“Yet again you embarrass us, Louis,” Lestat sighed, pacing through the room. He shot a glare at the younger vampire. “And you almost give us away. I wish you would learn, or at least try to.”  Louis just kept his eyes on the floor.  “You make it so much harder for yourself,” Lestat went on. “And where would you be without me, hm? You’d be suffering even more. I don’t understand you!” He snarled at him.
